How to Eat Like a Hot Chick
Posted by Lorrie Lynch
Because Kathy definitely loves to eat and many would consider her a hot chick, I asked her to talk to the authors of the upcoming book How to Eat Like a Hot Chick and see what advice they could give before the biggest eating day of the year. I like what she found out. I bet you will, too.
Jodi Lipper and Cerina Vincent, the authors, are friends who met at the gym but grew tired of always worrying about calorie counting and excessive exercising. So they decided to write this "anti-diet" book, full of fun (and helpful) tips to help keep the pounds off and keep you laughing. "We all have these same crazy food issues," said Jodi, "so let's laugh about it." Since we're coming into biggest eating day of the year, I asked what tips they have for smart Thanksgiving feasting. Their response made me oh-so-happy: 'Our first rule is to enjoy these celebrations. If you sit down to Thanksgiving dinner and have a bowl of broccoli instead of turkey with gravy you're going to be pissed off. And that's not hot!" said Cerina. "Eat whatever you want. You don't need to eat five servings of everything, but have everything that you love. Enjoy every morsel of it, don't feel bad about it, and then tomorrow you can go back to eating healthy." Jodi added that you shouldn't waste calories (and stomach space) on things you don't really enjoy. "If you don't looooove apple cider, don't have three glasses of it. Focus on the things you'll really regret not having." So tomorrow, I'll be focusing on mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes (notice a theme?). Hope you have some great food (and family time) to focus on, too!

Dear Lorrie:
May I please ask for information regarding James Caan from the weekly series Las Vegas. Is he coming back, or is he gone forever, along with Cheryl Ladd /
