Emily VanCamp

Emily_vancamp George Clooney makes good points about the paparazzi. But young actress Emily VanCamp, part of the great ensemble in ABC's Brothers & Sisters, figured out long ago how NOT to become a tabloid target. “There are ways you get into that circuit. Often in L.A., you know where to go where the cameras are going to go. You can choose to avoid it or go looking for it. I don’t go looking for it. Maybe one day I’ll have a different opinion.”  I'll run more of our interview with Emily (pictured at left with co-star Sally Field) in a December issue of the magazine.

Dancing w/ the Stars---Who is the man with a British accent who askes for the vote?
I think Carrie Ann and Bruno should do a demo dance each night before the contestants.
Are guests paid? Does money go to charities?
How are viewers' votes used? Surely the large number is condensed somehow.
The "pregnant pause" before announcing names is overdone-annoying to viewers and mean to dancers.
Two seconds is plenty.
What do show tickets cost?
I really object to to the words "voted off". They are not singled out to be off- They didn't get enough votes to stay. There must be a nicer way to say it.
This is my favorite show. Wish it ran all year. That's why I want to know these things. Thank you for the chance to ask. jd
