Kanye West is Grammy's top nominee

Kanye West had eight nominations and Amy Winehouse six when the Grammy nominees were named Thursday. Others included Bruce Springsteen, Tim McGraw, and Jay-Z.
Speaking of awards, the National Board of Review named No Country for Old Men
best picture this week. It's an odd year for serious award watchers as
there is no strong front runner in almost any category at this point.
