Questions for Trisha Yearwood
Posted by Lorrie Lynch
Most people know country star Trisha Yearwood (at left) for her music, but did you know she's also an avid cook? She's got a new book coming out in April, called Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen, that's chock full of down-home recipes and personal stories about Yearwood's Southern upbringing. Kathy's talking to her next week. We're wondering what hubby Garth Brooks' favorite recipe is, but what questions do you have for Yearwood? Let us know in the comments below.

How helpful are your girls in the kitchen? Is cooking more like a family event when they are home? And what about those nights you have Garth to yourself? Do you both spend time in the kitchen whipping something up more on the romantic side? I imagine are you both too busy these days? ;)
what is the favort food in your house
I love fish and shellfish especially. I am originally a Jersey Shore girl, where flounder/bluefish/bluecrabs/blowfish/stripedbass/bay clams/kingfish is caught and eaten locally in abundance. My mom always broiled bluefish and kingfish, slathered in mayonnaise and parmasean cheese, minimizing the strongfish taste that I dislike. The thing I miss the most though is the easily caught blowfish, which is much milder and great fried. It's been said Garth dislikes fish especially so I'll be very intriqued how you like to fix local seafood for your family and maybe get tips to try on our Florida Treasure Coast seafood such as snook/redfish/grouper/dolphin/catfish/bluefish/lobster/kingfish/shrimp. If you've got any secrets, I'd sure like to hear them, and I truly look forward to getting your recipes tested in my own family kitchen. :)
What recipe does your mother make that you just can't seem to make as well?
