Penn Jillette's Dancing days
It's going to be a busy week here at the Who's News Blog. We've got Dancing With the Stars to watch this week and an interview coming with Dancing's best illusionist, Penn Jillette (at right). Penn has been doing his nightly Penn & Teller shows in Vegas even while dancing away his days. Will it all end tomorrow night? I hope not for Penn's sake. (By the way, did you notice that the non-speaking Teller was in the audience for Penn's performance last week? Talk about loyalty.) If you have any questions for Penn post them below and I'll ask him when I get him on the phone.
Also coming up tomorrow is an interview with Kevin Sorbo, one of those reader heart throbs I told you about last week. Sorbo, best known for his role as Hercules, has a cable movie airing this weekend on Ion. If you're a fan, or not, feel free to post your questions for him, too. One of my colleagues reminded me that I missed a former heart throb when I was reminiscing about the many readers have made known. How could I forget The Highlander, Adrian Paul? I must have gotten several hundred questions on him over the years.

Hello,
Silvana again, and I am here to correct the mistakes made by this board which I have asked them to correct on March27th,2008, time 8:48:09PM, and again on March 27th, 2008 time 901:38PM. The mistake occured when I added my opinion of Adrian Paul on 2 posts, which this board, that even though I signed each post Silvana, posted it as Posted By: Adrian Paul. I feel it is only fair, and I want to be very clear and explain this. Adrian Paul did not post anything whatsoever, on March 25th, 2008 time 300:39PM, and again on March 25th, 2008, time 310:21PM. Those posts were written by me Silvana, and I am just a fan of Adrian Paul, who is a member of his fan club, and Adrian does not even know I exist. I do believe in fair play, and having asked this board to correct the mistake, and seeing it still has not been, I felt I should. It is only fair to Adrian. Silvana
Adrian Paul is an very good actor and proficient in martial arts and sword fighting also so I am sure many of your male readers are fans as I am.
It would be lovely if you could do an interview with Adrian Paul. He is just as much an heartthrob now as he was during his Highlander days and a great actor and humanitarian
I've Loved you since before Hercules, & Loved Hercules & Andromeda, & I miss seeing you on TV so my question is are you going to do another show on TV soon? I loved your Bounty Hunter Role on Psych are you planing on doing more of those?
Not that I don't just Love seeing you in the Movies ..but miss seeing you every week..
I just wrote you about my posts where you have it at the end as Posted by Adrian Paul. I am Silvana, and the posts you are looking to correct which I posted, not Adrian Paul. Post dated: March 25, 2008, time: 300:39PM,and another post dated: March 25, 2008, time: 3:10:21 PM. I guess as I said someone has a reading problem here, and please correct this mistake. Adrian Paul doesn't even know me, and those posts as they are, are not good. I signed my name as Silvana, and wonder what about that did you not understand. Thank you, Silvana, a Fan of Adrian Paul.
I wrote two posts on Adrian Paul, I signed my name and you have it posted by Adrian Paul. I guess someone here has a reading problem. Please correct this mistake, I am Silvana, one of Adrian Paul's, many fans. Thank you, Silvana
I don't know how in the world anyone can call Adrian Paul a former heartthrob. That man is just as much of a heartthrob today as he was when Highlander was on. He has done so many great projects since Highlander went off the air and such wonderful work through his Peace org. You really should take the time to do an interview with him!!!
You should do an interview with Adrian Paul very soon! He's done some films recently that I'm sure he would love to talk about. And yes, he is still a heart throb, that has never changed!
Adrian Paul is just as much a heartthrob as he was when Highlander began airing in 1992. He's such a kind, generous man...and a much overlooked consumate actor. He will be appearing around the US this summer and fall at many conventions. Go to www.adrianpaul.net for the dates.
And...if you want lots of info about Adrian (and tons of pics) and what he's been up to these past years, be sure and check out one of the largest fan sites dedicated to him at: www.adriansangels.com
Peace...
ADRIAN PAUL...HELLOOO!!! Might you interview....Can I say "PRETTY PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!!!"
Sorry, I mean to say coreographer
"Former heartthrob"... are you kiding me? Where have you been that didn't watch his recent movies, like "Seance", "Moscou Heat", "Wraith Of Roanoke"? And we really should have him into Dance with the Stars. He used to be a choreograph himself!
Adrian Paul, will be in the U.S.A. in July also. It is I have been told the First U.S. Tour and I wish him all my best. Maybe we will see more movies and television weekly series, with Adrian ( the gorgeous man) in them. Hey a girl can hope. I imagine all Adrian's fans want to see more of him, and please, never say Former Hearthrob in reference to Adrian Paul, that man is a heartthrob but, more importantly, he is a good person. Remember there are lots of hearthrobs out there, but to be a good person as well, well that is really doing something. Adrian is not just good looks is my point, he is a good person as well. Silvana
I agree with Sam, Adrian Paul still is everybit as much of a hearthrob as he was in The Highlander, and his Peace Org shows his compassion for mankind. Adrian helps people all over the world, with his Peace Org.
Personaly I would like to see more of Adrian Paul in the U.S. A. in films, or a weekly series, the man has worked very hard and is a great actor, to my thinking. Silvana
P.S. To Hermit: Kevin Sorbo, is coming to the U.S.A., in July 2008, for a U.S. Tour
Adrian Paul still is a heartthrob as he ever was and it would be wonderful to hear about his new projects so please do an interview with him

I've seen nearly everything that Adrian Paul has done, and he keeps getting better and better. My question for him is; Why does he seem to prefer filming in foreign countries? There are lots of great movies being filmed right here in the USA.
Back to the initial question, which was what would we ask Penn...
I'm wondering if that's a real name or a stage name.
How did and when Teller become a pair?
Is it hard to come up with a routine when your partner doesn't talk - or does it make it way easier?
How many hours per day do they rehearse for DWTS?
Your muscles must really hurt after the first days of rehearsal. How do you keep practicing when your muscles don't want you to even move?
Do you have any say about the costume you wear?
Hi Kevin! Would you consider doing theatre if the right role came along? I, for one, would love to see you on Broadway! So many of your former Hercules castmates were "theatre" people and I think you would be great in a play; comedy or drama! Wishing you and your family the best.
Are there more projects like the Walking Tall movies? While working on The Payback and Lone Justice: did you realise they would turn out such perfect little gems (especially The Payback)? Any chance of some similar projects with a bigger budget, that could then go theatrical?
How does one get hold of some of your movies if living in Europe?
Any chance of seeing you in a good old-fashioned "who dunit" any time soon?
And: great riding in Avenging Angel, you've come a long way since Hercules and Andromeda in that respect... (Great acting, too - but that's only what one has come to expect from you.)
Adrian Paul is still as much a heartthrob now as he was in his heyday on Highlander. He's worked on countless projects over the last ten years and is still as charming and fit as ever! HE should be on Dancing with the Stars!! He still sweeps us off our feets! And the work his does for his charity PEACE shows what a caring compassionate man he is,not just another pretty face!
Former heart throb? If you were to interview Adrian Paul you'd find he's still got it! And there's plenty to talk about with recent projects.
re: Heartthrob Adrian Paul: Did you see the "Lost Colony: Wraiths of Roanoke" -- one of his newer projects on television? Have you checked out his website (www.adrianpaul.net) if you can tear yourself away from the opening pose of "Captain Drake", yet another new television project, and scrolled thru the news page? If it's FORMER heartthrob, it's only because my heart stopped beating there for a bit while looking at the stills.
Hi again!
You are set to attend Dragon Con again this year and I wondered if you couldn't talk Michael into joining you there. That would be such a hoot for all. Much more freedom for both guest and fans.
Thanks for all the great work you do.
Tina D.
Hi Kevin
Have seen MEET THE SPARTANS and loved it you make a very sexy Spartan. Are you doing any more westerns, hope so. What other type of films would you like to do. Hope to see you soon over here in the U.K we miss you.
Jenny
Adrian Paul's Just as much of a Heartthrob as he ever was. I'd love to hear about some of his more recent work since Highlander.
What do you mean "FORMER HEARTTHROB, ADRIAN PAUL". The man is still a heartthrob and still makes multitudes of women's hearts skip a beat!! Why not do an interview with him?? He has a lot of interesting projects going on and has put out some really good work since Highlander.
Kevin, I've read elsewhere that you've thought about directing again for the small screen. If you had a choice, what type of project would you like to direct? Do you also have a genre preference (Western, sci-fi, etc.)? I admit, you do seem comfortable in a Western.
Thanks and good luck with "Prairie Fever."
Your presence in "Meet The Spartans," certainly made that film a lot more fun to watch. Was there any special mental preparation that you had to do to get through the scene of the male-to-male kiss?
You are a very dashing Spartan indeed. You would be great in a musical. Loved the "I Will Survive" number as the credits rolled.
Hi Kevin,
First off, I'd like to wish you and your family the very best. My question is: are you thinking about or have any plans to do another weekly show (like Herk or Andromeda) or are you mostly "Big Screen" now?
Lots of work questions: I guess there isn't really a "pilot season" this year, but anything in the works for a possible series? What about another outing for "The Preacher"? Is the movie with Matt LeBlanc happening?
How hard was it for you to kiss a man in "Spartans"? You've said it was almost a deal breaker...
What was it about the script for Praire Fever that attracted you to the project? I really think Westerns suit you to a T
As far as the hair goes--I miss the bangs!
Have you finished "An American Carol?" Can you tell us a little bit about your role in the movie?
What ever happened with the movie about three people who were going to commit suicide but wanted to have letters written for them first? Any news on "Sleeping with the Lion?"
Where the heck have i been? (referring to the last autograph he signed for me, lol) Waiting for you to do a convention here in the states! It's bad enough you got me out of the house, now you want "Hermit goes International too?" Ha... Love ya Big guy! Hermie
Ive read where you are appearing at the cremation grand slam con next month and that Michael has been added. How often do you two actually get together in person and do you think there will be any chance of you both acting together again? I hate to miss the fun but I hope you both have a blast! To bad it is run by the Ferengi Rules of Aquisition.
Enjoy!
Tina D.
If you were given the opportunity to do a movie featuring the life of a golf pro which one would you most like to portray?
As a family man, father of three, do you miss the kids when you are away filming and do you get to take them with you if they are not in school?
Hey Kevin, I've followed you since the start of Herc, and just recently saw you in Walking Tall.
How was that experience (Walking Tall) for you? And do you have any more films in the works? TV appearances?
Thank you, sir!
I loved your Bounty Hunter Role on Psych, that would be so cool of the USA Network could do one based on Byrd's character.
Your hair looks great Kevin, don't cut it ;)
You've played classical, old western, modern day and futuristic heroes. Is a past, present, or future setting more fun for you?
Question for Kevin Sorbo
You make such a fabulous cowboy are there anymore Westerns on the horizon?
