'Chocolat' sequel is an entertaining read

The one good thing about getting the flu this week was the time I spent reading. I finished Joanne Harris' new novel The Girl With No Shadow. It's the
sequel to Chocolat and it was just released in the U.S. this week. Joanne is half British and half French and sets this novel in the Montmartre neighborhood of Paris. It's the story of relationships between mothers and daughters and the authenticity of identity, with a little magic and numerous colorful characters sprinkled throughout. A fun, fast read.
