Tell us: What's your favorite returning TV show?

Pushing_daisiesAs we've been telling you all month, a new fall TV season is upon us. And in our continuing effort to help you figure out what's worth watching, we got three of the Web's most popular TV bloggers  — Kathie Skerry of "Give Me My Remote," Kimra McPherson of "BuzzSugar" and Jace of the award-winning "Televisionary" — to tell us what they pick as the must-see returning shows.  No surprises here. They said ABC's Pushing Daisies (which stars Anna Friel and Lee Pace, who we chose last year as one of TV's best new stars) and NBC's The Office top their list.

Now it's your turn: Tell us why your favorite returning show should be on the list?

Post in the comments below, and maybe you'll encourage some new viewers to check out the shows you think are tops!

Sorry, I meant to say that I was definitely disappointed that Blood Ties was NOT returning this fall. I wish it would, as do the tons of other fans of this vampire/ detective show.

Also, if anyone in the US hasn't heard of this show (it wasn't very aggressively marketed in my area at least), www.mylifetime.com is still showing full, free episodes.

Definitely Blood Ties. It was one of the few shows that I would make sure that I was home to watch (the others being Bones & House). So I was extremely disappointed when Lifetime inexplicably decided to cancel this amazing show; I just hope that some other network is smart enough to realize what a fantastic show this is- and what a great opportunity it is to capitalize on the burgeoning vampire craze after the success of Twilight and HBO's True Blood, as well as the success of sci-fi/ fantasy shows on a number of different networks.

And advertiser- if you want to make sure that I see your commercials and buy your products, encourage networks to bring back Blood Ties! I stay on the couch during commercials for only a small number of shows, like Blood Ties, because I don't want to miss even a minute. The rest of the time, I use commercials to wash dishes, fold laundry, etc. and am probably not paying much attention to the commercials on TV. You'll definitely get my attention if you advertise during Blood Ties!

It's unfortunate Blood Ties is not a returning show because it would get my vote. It's so fun to watch. The fast paced, witty writing, the strong female lead, the complicated love triangle, and the absolutely amazing chemistry between Christina, Kyle, and Dylan all make for great TV. Hopefully some very smart TV executive will realize what a gem this show is and work to make it happen again with the same actors. It was definitely ahead of the game!

I have never been in love with a show like I have loved Blood Ties. I've only just found it and am enthralled by the fact that it still has such a fan base. I can't believe none of these stations have realized what a gold mine this show could be!

I could I forget House! Also loved the show Judging Amy! Wish they would bring it back the way it was with Amy as a juvenile judge and her mother as a social worker...so real then & I miss it.

I make sure I'm home to watch Men in Trees, Greys Anatomy & Friday Night Lights. Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters & Cold Case are good. We don't have cable or satelite so I hope these shows stay on regular channels. Getting tired of all the reality shows!

I watch TV one night a week....Mondays at 9 p.m. The Closer. It's great to see a smart, and realistic, sometimes insecure, woman lead such a diverse group of men & women in her dept. Chief Johnson (Kyra Sedgewick) brings a fresh angle to detective work and life situations each week. I wish there was no "down" season for this stellar show.

In response to if I think TV is worse or better, it is not only worse it is horrendous. If it wasn't for HGTV, Disney channel, Hallmark channel, TV land, and the shopping channels I would not be able to find anything to watch. There are no family shows and you have to be afraid to watch anything with your children.

The shows I am anxious to have return are
Lost, ER, Grey's Anatomy, Heroes, and Desperate Housewives. All these shows have good characters that I can care about.
I am very unhappy when the networks don't give new shows a chance. New shows should be kept on TV until at least the November ratings are over, unless the new show is so bad no one is watching.

Chuck is far and away my favorite show on television, and I was so excited to hear that NBC had ordered the full 22 episode season already!

The acting between Zach Levi and Yvonne Strahovski is just incredible, and the writing is tops. Can't WAIT for Sep. 29th...so I'm glad Hulu.com will have the premiere on a week early!

We thorougly enjoy Fridat Night Lights and Cane

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS is the best show on TV. The characters are all 3-dimensional; the acting is superb, esp. Kyle Chandler; the story lines are have all the elements of good storytelling. And the football sequences are realistic high school ball. (I am a huge sports fan. My favorite channels are ESPN & FSN.) I never missed an episode last season. Plus I DVR'd them all and watched them again. I am so glad Direct-TV is picking up the show. Please keep this show on TV. It is gold among the dross.
