Maura Tierney leaves 'ER' tonight

A reminder to loyal ER fans: Tonight's the night Maura Tierney (at right) exits the show. In 15 years there have been a lot of actors in and out of the faux county general hospital on the Warner Bros. lot and it's hard to get too worked up about any character's departure when it's the final season. But Tierney will be missed. I admit I'm no longer a regular viewer but you can bet I'll dip back in when Anthony Edwards returns later this year. (Of course, his Dr. Mark Greene is still dead. We're talkin' flashbacks.)

I will miss Abby, she gives something special to ER. I will miss the show when it goes off the air at the end of the season. I started watching it right from the beginning. I hope there will be another show even 1/2 as good as its replacement.
Looking at my last post and I can see how upset I am. The Book of Abby will always be dear to my heart as I have never missed a single episide of this show for yr and yrs. I am so moved
What a sad show, and this right up in USA Weekend doesn't do her justice, or even the show

She's my fav character from the show...she totally captures the screen and ur attention she had one of the most amazing stories on the show its still bugging me that she left i hope she's going right into another show or sumthing cuz shes one amazing actress if u ask me...
