Scott Hamilton on Donald Trump and 'Celeb Apprentice'

We told you last week about the new cast of The Celebrity Apprentice, which returns to NBC on March 1. Well, our Kathy Rowings talked with one of the contestants — Olympic figure skater Scott Hamilton — on the very day news of his casting broke. While none of the contestants is allowed to say much, Kathy reports that Hamilton, a cancer survivor who has a new book coming soon, is excited about the show and the people he worked with on it. (Remember, it's already finished taping.) "It's a wild, diverse group of people," Hamilton told Kathy. "I never thought I'd interact with Dennis Rodman. Tom Green is another cancer survivor, so it was really interesting to meet and work with him. Clint Black and I have been friends for a while, so it was fun sharing the experience with a good friend." Of course, we wanted to know his thoughts on Mr. "You're Fired!" himself, Donald Trump. "I have nothing but love for Donald Trump," Hamilton says. "Playing in his house was so fun, and his kids are great. That says a lot about the man: When your kids are great, you've obviously done something right."
