Stars will make a difference in NY and LA

10547082H20964949 Actress Brittany Snow, of Hairspray fame, says she’s “honored” to be participating in Make A Difference Day tomorrow. She will be at a Habitat for Humanity project in Los Angeles on behalf of Newman's Own, which is providing breakfast there and at more than 50 MDDAY project sites across the country. “There’s such a sense of camaraderie and fellowship when you’re volunteering with millions of people. You feel like you really can change the world in one day,” Snow says.  Perhaps it's best she will be there as part of the volunteer breakfast brigade. Says Snow, “I’m really bad with the outdoors or construction of any kind."

In New York, at Barnes and Noble at Lincoln Center, American Idol finalist Constantine Maroulis, Food Network’s Iron Chef Cat Cora, and Alexis Christoforous of CBS News will join children’s book author Nick Katsoris to read to kids. Katsoris will donate $2 from the sale of each copy of his Loukoumi’s Gift (narrated by Jennifer Aniston and her father John Aniston, the soap opera star) to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
